Tristan Long has been behind the kit since 1985, inspired by the raw rhythm of Johnny Kidd & the Pirates’ “Shakin’ All Over.” From there, his drumming journey took off—first making waves with East Anglian rockers Sweet N Innocent, where he shared stages with heavyweights like Iron Maiden, Helloween, and Skin.

Over the years, Tristan has toured the UK extensively with a wide range of Norfolk-based bands, performing alongside the likes of Midge Ure, Deacon Blue, Jimmy James and the Vagabonds, Gareth Gates, Buzzcocks, The Foundations, The Fortunes, and more. Known for his solid groove and vintage flair, he brings decades of live experience and musical versatility to THE TORNADOS.
